In her self-published book, Karen presents 30 original free motion quilting designs created specifically for the Square Rose Box Bags, Circle Bags, and Triangle Bags.  The wealth of motifs include many botanical designs such as Chrysanthemum, Zinnia, Petunia, Sunflower, Ginko, Pine, Poppy, Morning Glory, Anemone, Leaves, Iris, Water Lily, and Black-Eyed Susan.  Look in the gallery section for examples of several purses displaying these free motion quilting designs.

The free motion quilting designs provided in this book are very versatile.  Not only do the designs look lovely on the Square Rose purses, the 4-inch, 5-inch, and 6-inch designs are also great for quilt blocks, clothing embellishment, and enlivening a home decoration project.

In addition to the many free motion quilting designs, Karen provides detailed instructions for successful free motion quilting based on her experience teaching hundreds of individuals to successfully master free motion quilting.  Karen provides expert insight into transferring designs to fabric, thread selection, and machine set up.
